Hi, I’m Ron! After spending 30 years working in public safety, I retired to focus on traveling the country with my wife. Our journey took an unexpected turn after our cargo trailer was stolen in Las Vegas, with all my toolboxes, our SCUBA gear and many other items, but that didn’t stop us. We took it as a sign to dive deeper into the world of RV life. 

Now, my wife, our two dogs—Tank and Tilly—and I are living our dream, traveling full-time in our 36-foot fifth wheel.

As my wife works as a travel nurse, our adventures have led us all over the country. Along the way, I started maintaining our camper and eventually began helping fellow campers fix issues with their RVs. This hands-on experience sparked my interest in RV repair, which led me to earn my certification from the RV Technical Institute, with specialties in slide-out and chassis repair.

I’m proud to run Alpine 45 Mobile RV Tech, offering mobile repair services to RVers in Northern Michigan during the summer months, where we can also enjoy quality time with our daughters, grandkids, and family. In the winter, we call Camp Verde, AZ, home and provide mobile RV service to those traveling to escape the winter weather.

I’m committed to expanding my knowledge in RV repair and am currently working towards becoming a master-certified RV technician, with a focus on electrical systems and slide-outs, plus one more specialty to be determined.
